We love gathering as a church on Sunday mornings to express our praise to God, to hear His word read and preached, and to enjoy fellowship with one another. We believe that this is not only a good thing to do but a vital expression of what it means to be part of God’s family. Having said that, we also know that we have been called to love our neighbors. In light of the rapid spread of the coronavirus, loving our neighbors right now means doing whatever we can to limit the transmission of COVID-19. This is especially true for the vulnerable among us, and for those connected to us. Our provincial government has asked that all gatherings of more than 250 people be suspended.

With these things in mind, we will be suspending our Sunday morning gatherings until further notice. Our hope would be that we will be able to gather again as a church family on Easter weekend, but we will entrust that to God’s providence. In the meantime, we livestreaming a gathering of sorts on Sunday mornings at 10:00am. We want to encourage you to gather with your family or friends, or if everyone is in good health, with your Community Group. Link for the livestream is below.

We often stress the fact that we are the church both when we are gathered and when we are scattered. It’s not an ideal situation, but we will be doing more scattering than gathering for a while. Crossridge will continue to function – we will continue to seek to know Jesus and make Him known. In the midst of this our office will continue to function as normal. We want to provide prayer, and counsel, and support in whatever other areas you might need. Looking forward to seeing all of you again soon.
